The meticulously restored 1906 Lodge has been a welcoming presence on San Diego’s Coronado Island for well over a century. The inn’s location provides the best of both worlds: a quiet and romantic setting, yet just one block to Coronado’s main street shops, restaurants and galleries, and only two blocks to the famous beach and Hotel Del Coronado. Guests find they can park in the 1906 Lodge’s secure, underground garage, complimentary, then forget their cars until check-out.
Recently ranked as the top boutique hotel in America by Hotels.com, the 1906 Lodge at Coronado has also been honored with TripAdvisor’s 2016 Travelers' Choice Award. Beautiful accommodations and superior service mean a strong following of return guests, plus many happy first-timers determined to come back. Each of the Lodge’s 17 guest rooms is individually decorated, and many feature a private entrance, balcony, spa tub, wet bar and/or cozy fireplace.
After a delicious breakfast, guests are welcome to take our cruiser bikes for a spin around town, or borrow our beach bags and chairs for a day on the sand. All are included in the room rate. In the afternoon, guests return to the 1906 Lodge to enjoy refreshments in the breezy garden courtyard.
