The Coronado Island Film Festival (CIFF) is hosted each year over Veteran’s Day weekend.

Every year we invite filmmakers and industry leaders from across the globe to attend and screen at the CIFF. The five-day pedestrian-friendly festival offers a slate of more than 80 films from diverse genres alongside compelling panels, lively workshops and, of course, parties!

Attendees love to mingle with filmmakers and industry leaders, including our host and Honorary Jury President, film critic and author Leonard Maltin. Leonard’s Celebrity Tribute has become a festival highlight, honoring emerging talent, composers, cultural icons, humanitarians and actors whose contributions have impacted the film industry in an indelible way.

Past honorees include actors such as Andy Garcia, Jacob Tremblay and Cloris Leachman, cinematographers Dean Cundey and John Toll, musicians/composers Diane Warren, Kris Bowers and Michelle Philips (of The Mamas and the Papas) and Academy Award winning make-up artist Lois Burwell.
