Be Like Yana – Wear A Mask!

A facial covering is required when out in public and while entering our Coronado stores, restaurants and attractions. We want to do everything we can to keep our local businesses open, protect our valiant first responders and keep our visitors and community safe and able to enjoy our little piece of paradise.

Thank you so much for your co-operation in this matter. It’s no fun for anyone but far better than the alternative!

(Worse case scenario for wearing a mask – you sported a little piece of fabric over your mouth and nose. Worse case scenario for not wearing a mask? The virus continues its spread, we put undue burden on our first responders and incur another complete shut down, further devastating the livelihood of small businesses and the overall economy. Verdict? Totally worth this temporary discomfort so we can look forward to seeing all your beautiful faces soon!)

While the situation regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is fluid and ever-changing we are actively involved in conversations addressing the issue. We continue to follow updates from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local health officials as we move forward. As new information and guidelines emerge, we remain prepared to follow any recommended actions as directed by these entities.

In light of the County’s Declaration of Emergency and the Governor’s Declaration of a Public Health Emergency for the State of California, and the requirements for gatherings, the Coronado Visitor Center has suspended operations until future notice.
