The Coronado Lawn Bowling Club was started in 1935 at 7th & D Ave. featuring a typical grass green.  That Green was lost when the Library was expanded but the City promised and delivered a new world class artificial green, which was dedicated in March 2010 at the same location on the Corner of 7th and D Ave. next to the library and across from the high school.  The green is home to the Coronado Lawn Bowling Club but is open to the public, and all San Diego County residents are welcome to come for a free lesson by appointment.  Call (619)319-5509 for your free lesson.
